Telling the story of others through imagery is my story.

My passion for photography began when I was just a young girl. My first camera was given to me at age eight by my parents. It was nothing special. Just a basic camera with a pop up view finder, but I thought it was the greatest gift of all. I would make my younger sister pose for me while I took pictures of her. We had a blast playing photographer and model. As I grew older I was always snapping pictures of anything that caught my eye. My camera and I became so normal that on road trips before I could even pick up the camera to photograph something everyone would start laughing and saying, “Angela’s going to take a picture of that.” In my late teenage years I started shooting with a Nikon 35mm and I fell in love. When I wasn’t shooting I would daydream about having my own darkroom to develop film in.I’m married to a wonderful man who serves in the United States Air Force and we have two beautiful children together. Currently we are stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB located in Goldsboro, NC. Being a military spouse for over a decade now has given me the opportunity to travel and pursue my interest in photography. The only down fall is that with moving about every four years I have yet to achieve my dream of owning a darkroom. One day though…
